Getting Started

Start with a public HTTPS chord-page URL, pasted chord-and-lyrics text, or pasted ChordPro. EasyChords uses deterministic parsing rules and structures the result into an editable song sheet.

Importing Content

Choose URL, Paste text, or ChordPro. There are no file uploads. URL import only processes public pages and never bypasses logins, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, or access controls; blocked pages fall back to pasted visible text.

Editing & Aligning

Review every section and line in the editor. Chords are stored with their lyric segments so alignment remains intact while you edit, wrap, preview, and print.

Transposing

Select a new key or transpose by semitones. Major, minor, seventh, extended, altered, and slash chords retain their modifiers, with sharp, flat, or automatic accidental preferences.

Printing & Exporting

Open Print / PDF, choose A4, Letter, or F4 paper, and set orientation, columns, margins, spacing, type sizes, chord color, and character spacing. Overflow continues onto numbered pages automatically.

FAQ

Guest mode is free, imported content stays local unless you choose to save it, and browser printing supports Save as PDF.

If loading the URL fails, use Option 2: Paste Text.
